Vs cam and no you use the stock rockers with almost any cam unless you want higher lift that usually requires head work

XP is a good cam with stock heads as well as the s1x cam.
VS isnt a bad cam but you get more out of the other two i listed.
stock rockers are the best and is what most people use on cam builds.
on any cam build, youll need springs. youll need a tune with any of these upgrades.

You don't need a tune for a cam. Yeah sure it will run better, but no where have I ever read anything saying that you need to tune after installing a cam.

Yes it can unless unless you get 42 pound injectors then you'll need a tune for the injectors. . But our stock tune is really good

You want that low idle sound.. an is3 will do that but like its stated above you'll need a head job.. or it'll crack the **** out of it.

ctracer I didnt say you shouldnt tune lol. Saying that you need a tune is like saying that if you order a hamburger you need ketchup.

Even a stock car runs better with a tune.

what is going on in this thread......the hell.....

first off, if you dont know your way around a motor you do not want to do a cam. because either youll **** something up, or youre gonna have to pay out the nose for someone else to install it. secondly, unless you want to spend ~$2500 you want a cam that'll run on stock heads (vs, xp, s1x). last, YOU NEED A TUNE 100%. you cannot get an off the shelf tune. you cannot run on the stock tune (except for driving to the tuner of your choice).

get your facts straight people. this thread has noob written all over it.
