that's all fine. you can easily port your TB and blower if youre willing to take them off and spend a little time. that would help a little too.

run the pulley, scan for knock. if its >3* then buy a different size (bigger) or tune the car so you can actually run it without making it pig ass rich.

hell, id run a 3.4 on that setup.

well get yourself some porting tools. Look up porting and polishing online and there are a lot of How To's. Also search porting M90 eaton and you'll find a lot of info on porting it as well. Good luck!

    TB:

you are GOING TO break through the casting around the MAF area. you may not know about what im talking about right now, but you will if you port it on your own. prepare yourself and get some aluminum epoxy and put it all over the outside around the top and sides. you may have to add more later. basically youre just going to take out the hump from where the maf sits and smooth everything out.

you have a 97, so im not sure about yours. you most likely have to port out that post in the middle and im not sure about how you would take care of that without switching over to a 99+ MAF setup.

    blower:

if you dont open up the TB anymore than stock, leave the inlet the size it is, just flapper wheel it for a bit to smooth it out a little. for the outlet you just need to follow the angle of the outlet so it is a straight line on the bottom, not the notched way it comes stock. you basically extend the cornors. take out the h-bar if you want, but its going to be a lot of grinding unless you have a mill or lathe to use. if you take the bar out youll have to open up your lower intake as well., which might be more work than you want since youd then have to replace those gaskets which are hard to seal if you arent very mechanically inclined.

you can do this all with a dremel if you want.

^^yep, it's fairly strait forward right there. A dremel, you're going to be a while, and you can't go fast at all with them. Unfortunately the bits for the dremel aren't really meant for machining aluminum well, because they don't "clean" themselves very well.

I use a 1/4 shank rotary file designed specifically for aluminum, and a pneumatic die grinder, and it cuts through the stuff like butter.....makes it doable in less than half the time.
