I think just take that funky mount on the passenger side off iirc.

Yeah that motor mount is different, just swap it with the one on the original car.

And the oil filter housing might be different aswell.

What does anyone think about just replacing the bearings in the knocking engine or a rod and piston if needed and bearings?

It might run for a hundred miles with a new bearing or rod, or it might run longer.

With these motors, just about anytime you open up the bottem end, you need machine work or it wont last long.

    Things to change.
I could tell you bolt for bolt, had you let us know what years you were dealing with.

    Here's the basics instead:
    Rear exhaust manifold
    Alt bracket
    AC bracket
    Oil filter adapter (a must)
    Evap setup depending on year
TB depending on year (or reprogram correct map table)
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Sorry about that Bill I just figured seriesII was just that. The regal says 97 on the title the park ave L67 is a 2000 (I think thats what the guy said ??)Morad told me the oil pan maybe, the oil adapter for sure and the fuel rails and a couple brackets. They said the manifolds on SC cars are the same but I thought you had to change one of those as well?? Idk I appreciate any input to make this easier on me.You guys always save me both time and frustration.
