ZZP uses a Gen5 bottom plate and Gen 3 top plate, no matter what i do i cannot get it to seal because of the different length of the bottom plate.
Are you talking about the i/c core? I'm not understanding that.

yes my short stack has 2 different plates that make up the core. the top is opened up like a Gen3 and the bottom plate is opened up like a Gen5. my LIM is a ported Gen3 so when the Short Stack goes on, the bottom plate is 1 inch longer than my stock opening,that is where my vacuum leak is coming from. im probably not going to run a gasket on the bottom and try to seal it with a bead of RTV, i cannot tell you the amount of money i wasted in gaskets on this car....also the bearings in the blower are no good and i have to buy another Gen3 from ZZP, there is a crazy grinding sound coming from the snout....i shoulda just put N2O on the L36
