I've searched but can't really find answer, I heard somewhere you can't use the zzp or intense oil volume kit on seriesIII engines, has anybody else heard that? I was just thinking about getting it since I'm starting to mod a 167,000 mile engine, I know they can go forever when done right but I was just thinking of extra insurance.

Also is the zzp shift kit any good, or are there better?

    Thanks

I was just about to ask about the volume kits lol. Also Are there any benefits to using the volume kit in a build?

Not sure about the volume kits, but personally I would use a TransGo shift kit instead of ZZP.

The ZZP kit is a series 3 spring and plunger. The intense kit is a fresh 97-03 spring (TMK), plunger and a washer. If you are S3, you likely don't need to add it.

    transgo every time.

Thanks guys, I'll just leave it stock. Do any 3800 vendors sell the transgo kit?
