Couldn't really tell what I was listening for.

Maybe a slight whine? Or a scraping sound?

Take the s/c belt off see of it changes. So u know if its on that belt or not. Then run with none to see if it persists. Maybe a pulley? Guess its hard to know which noise your trying to pin point.

Well the noise i was talking about is the chirping. But now that you point it out there is a "jet engine" sound.

check your pulleys out. idlers and tensioners. and the alt, and the water pump. see if they feel loose, or wobble when you spin them, or or just dont spin smoothly.

i just got the same chirp, but it goes away after the car warms up. so im a letting it slide for now. started after a lim job, and cleaning my belts. go figure.
