i got a smaller pulley, and forgot to figure in that i would need a smaller belt. zzp only lists part numbers for gates belts. im looking for dayco/gator belts. thats what they have at local stores here.

or if someone knows the part number for a 66 3/8" belt specifically for autozone, o'rielys or napa. these people are completely dependent on vehicle specifics, they have no idea how to look up individual part numbers

Go to the Napa website. In the upper right, you can enter the non-Napa part number, click interchange, and there you go.

I have a smaller pulley, been trying to figure out what belt to get, or really where i can find one locally. now im looking at idler pulleys, a 3.5" is offered. it looks to be the smooth pulley. well i measured my smooth idler and it is 3.5" my ribbed one is 3" along with the tensioner pulley.

so did the previous owner put on a 3.5" already? or am i looking at the wrong pulley. it seems to have a torx head bolt instead of a normal 15mm bolt

WBody store states that it is a 15mm bolt, all my other pulleys are a 15mm bolt but this one

okay, i put my older 3.5" pulley up to the idler and its the same size. so i guess i answered my own question. making sure it was the right pulley that gets replaced with the 3.5
