im trying to reach 400hp. last time it was dynoed it put 266hp no knock on a 3.2 pulley with a stage 1 intense cam with supporting mods.
now i did a 2.8 pulley drop with a full size intercooler, tog headers and full 3" exhaust, but, my fuel pump its dying, so lets shoot at 400hp!!!
    my new setup:
    -stage 3 intense heads
    -stage 3 intense cam
-gen v with a 2.6 pulley (if its knock free)
    -northstar TB
-phenolic intercooler (i live in Puerto Rico, pretty hot here, aluminum gets heat soaked FAST)
    -60# injectors
    -double roller
    -4" FWI

i have a Lumina, hope to get some feedback!

That stuff you have listed should give you 400 at the crank. Id say 350whp. If you have E85 in your area you could prob pick up another 30hp and run a 2.55 pulley.

... What kind of intake are you currently running on? You list a 4" FWI as a future mod... but your cammed and on a 3.2 pulley?

I would say between 325-350whp with those mods but you better be on a built tranny or your going to have problems. If you are wanting to pull 400whp or more you need to look at a turbo instead of SC application, but either way you need to add a upgraded trans if you haven't already. Ask BillBoost about high power builds and trannies, he's gone through 1 or 2 in his day lol.

2.6 on a gen v, holy geez, lolol.

Ramp up the timing and use a bigger pulley if you can.

If you are trying to get 400whp its impossible on a S/C build unless adding nitrous.

I wouldnt say impossible you just need a pretty huge build to get there with a s/c application.

E85 will help out a good amount if it is available where he stays at. All i am stating is it isnt impossible just really hard to reach that goal but has been done.

i have a 3" FWI now, already made the 4" to go with the northstar set up.
im also building another transmission i have with all the tep goodies.
e85 is an option here, but i dont want to go as low as 2.55 since there is lots of humidity and heat here.
what else would i need to reach more than 350?

It really comes down to everything from FP rewire to even mounts and such that help keep the engine more stable at take off and such. EWP would help a bit A/C delete as well tot take stress off the engine. if youre goal is 400 whp i dont think stage 3 stuff is gonna cut it close but not there try stage 4. I am, i have the XPZ from zzp and Intense stage 4 heads, EWP, Gen V, zzp mps, 65 injectors, poly mounts, ported Lim and S/C and alot more and i dont plan on intercooling only if i have too which is the reason why i want to go e85 here in cali not a fan of IC.

does the electric water pump really works?
does deletes like egr, bbv, evap work?
    does a bigger exhaust work?
what spark plugs should i run?
i'm planning on running stock gaskets and head bolts.
should i go and get a belt wrap kit?

this is what i have already:
    -a/c delete
    -intense upper mounts
    -solid (Homemade) polyurethane lower mounts
    -2.6, 2.8 pulleys
    -TOG headers
    -PRJ Fuel pump & rewire
    -full 3" exhaust

    -stage 3 intense heads
    -stage 3 intense cam
    -northstar TB
    -60# injectors
    -double roller
    -4" FWI
    Still Need
    -Gen v
-phenolic or stage 2 i/c for gen v (i prefer phenolic)

No need to port a genV.

Maybe open the inlet to match the TB but that's about it.
