    Ok - so far so good, I have removed the two bolts that supposedly hold the bracket to the block and all that I can see left is those damn plastic coolant elbows holding the bracket to the block. I have considered strong arming this until it pops off, but I am not in the mood for breaking anything in the engine bay.

    Is there any easy approach to removing the bracket or is it brute force and ignorance?

    There is a 3rd bolt. It's hard to see towards the back of the bracket
