I’m new to all of this, I have always had Grand Prixs and want to make this one fast. I have a 2006 with a 3800 supercharged. I want to know where to start and where I can take it, within reason ($). Any ideas are appreciated and I hope to learn a lot from this forum.

The best way to start, is with the basics!

    All the Free mods.....THEN!

Intake system, pcm tune, 180* Tstat, PEM's (ported Exhaust Manifolds), 3" DP(DownPipe), and then I would scan for knock. if there isnt any...I would drop down to a 3.4 pulley. and then rescan for any knock.

that would be a baseline..... then after how far do you want to go with it? how fast? what is your budget? what are your plans?

Don't forget about some colder plugs also. Like the Autolite 104's.

the small things, like CAI shouldnt void warrenty but a PCM tune, and dropping pully sizes will be really hard to fight.

When you order your pcm, suck up the core charge and hang on to the oem one so if you ever put it in the shop you can swap them out. This also will prevent your tunned one from getting reflashed for any reason.
