I am searching for a replacement engine for my GTP, I bought this car not too long ago "maybe couple months" and dumped alot of money into it.. After doing intake gaskets it developed a rod knock. anyway I need a engine or a shortblock to swap my upper end onto.

Can I use a NA short block? If so what years and models?

Should I just stick to a complete GTP engine and drop it in?

Just curious the best way to go about this, thanks

if you use a na short block you would have to tune as it would be considered a topswap.. it would be able to run on stock gtp computer but it wouldnt be completely safe

Rods and pistons and heads are different between NA and SC.

Just find a SC block and swap it in.
