Why does he need head gaskets for a cam install, AFR guy?
READ his first post he's doing head gaskets!!
I really can't see a difference on my phone. I'll have to look when I get out of work
Ok thanks I'll give it a try and see what they say.... did you have to get the machine oil pump cover to?
I'm only doing the head gaskets because the motor will already be out and half ripped apart already. Plus they have 110k on them
Unless your doing something with the head...leave it alone..no point in replacing and spending money on things that are fine.

He says in his first post he's doing studs
I am doing something with the head.... 130# springs. And I might have them hot tubbed and ported/polished
As soon as you take the heads off send them to the machine shop for a checkup, and porting if you can afford it.
my local machine shop aka the master of heads (in my area) told me he would charge $200 to do the bowls, clean, and check the heads for cracks etc.. witch isnt so bad IMO
Thats a steal. Id have to pay that per head, but canada.
My ported heads were $600~ for everything.
Talk 'bouts stealins
What if you dun needed new valves, guides, or crack repair?
Then I woulda grabbed the other two sets of L67 heads I had lying around?
I got new bronze guides as well.
L32 valves were used.
For the price of 3800 heads...crack/repair is funny...just buy another set.
Welcome to canada, they wont sell you heads.
I know the guy at the machine shop... He said he will charge me 350 to hot tub, sand bead, port/polish and something else that i forgot. the guy is awesome... he builds race motors and all that good stuff. knows what hes doing
Just have him keep the general "D" shaped factory ports...and take the LIM to him and have him port match the runners to the intake side.
