So the other day i went to go pick up a fuel filter (easy task right?) Well after going to advanced they tell me they cant get it and then auto zone same thing. So i think it must be a dealer item even though that wouldnt make much sense. I go to the dealer and they tell me its 52 bucks. For a fuel filter? ya...no.... So i try one more store CAP. They tell me they have the part and its 13 bucks and it will be in next day. They order it i get it and pull off my old filter. Well after looking at them both the new one has 1 smaller tube and 1 bigger tube on the input side, and the old one has 2 of the same as the larger one. Does anyone know why? Did someone change this filter and fuel lines out befor? the vehicle has 90k on it. Or did i get the wrong filter and they are all retarded. Are you guys filters inputs the same size or one smaller than the other?

Mahle W0133-1775444 Fuel Filter | Auto Parts Warehouse

looks to be the same size on both sides.

    list of everything: http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/200...el_filter.html

wix looks like it might be the same on both sides as well.

Which parts store did you go to?

Try Napa and see if they have a fuel filter, they use WIX filters IIRC.

the delco looks like the one you mentioned there as being incorrect, the mahle is cheaper than the delco yet appears to have the correct piece on both sides.
