I guess my heater core is going I reached up behind the Gloove box near the centerconsole and I Got some on my fingersafter smelling it all the way to woek. Yeah I hate my life. Has anyone done one before and can I get to it without removing the entire dashboard. Or do I have to do it all. It is a 2001 and I have 104000 miles on it. Has any one had luck with the barsleak solution I was thinking of doing that before I rip the whole thin out.

Well i havent done one in this car before but i'd stay away from the stop leak stuff. Typically it only makes things worse.

Sounds like that was happening because the water pump was spinning faster and was pushing more water through the leaking heater core.

Well it was the heater core I replaced this weekend and all is well Flushed out the system too and replaced with new coolant. I still went with the dexcool hopefully it will not rot this one out. 104000 miles a bit soon to be having to replace the heater core don't you think????
