But frankly until you get into modding deeply you really don't need to worry about scanning. If you are on the stock pulley and stock tune most of what you do first is just supporting mods so the engine can handle the added boost or other mods. Stepping stones, you don't just go to the end. Have to stage it.
Actually, I'd get a way to scan first and foremost...doesn't matter if you run 15's or 10's...knowing what your car is doing is very important; especially with as old as these platforms are getting.
