I wouldn't think you need to replace for that. Although I'd be looking in the head to see if there's a corresponding shiney mark.
I had some like that when I swapped my motor
its from it hitting the head casting flash near the inboard (towards rocker fulcrum) side of the pushrod hole.
seen it plenty of times.
pull off the head and grind the casting parting lines/flash in those area's
its sorta hit or miss...most times there's clearance, sometimes there isn't. it doesn't help that improper securing procedure of the rocker stands could contribute to the rockers being offset and making it worse/better
Yeah the casting around some of the pushrod holes is really rough and after I put the stock rockers back on clearence is small in those rough areas...I'm going to reuse them and order up some new ones to add to my parts collection...if zzp did have issues with 1.9's on the l32 motors that could be a contributing factor

I had the exact same marks on mine after running 1.9's on an L32 for about 1000 miles. I reinstalled with the flattened part towards the lifters, and I pulled them again after another 25k and they looked exactly the same.
Well 1.6 rockers are back in so hopefully won't have anymore issues...1.9 will be going in a l67

well dont forget that by now it may have shaved everything off and you have clearance....and metal particles
Yeah rockers where on car for prob 20k so metal particles started 2 years ago
