Wondering if anyone has any pics of any series 2 heads that have been ported or if anyone can let me know how much i can take off and where or if these heads are just best left alone. I really dont want to end up accidentally porting myself a hole into a coolant passage. Don't really feel like experimenting with a water cooled exhaust system.

There is a DIY guide on CGP: ClubGP Message Forum troubleshooting

And all "stage" heads that you can currently buy "new" from vendors are ported stockers.

If you end up buying "stage" heads, buy stage three.

More is only for super retarded builds and less is a waste of money IMO.

I'd lean towards ZZP because the exhaust valve is smaller, meaning a longer lasting valve seat.

Most gains are in the exhaust side, so focus there, and just do what is said in that link and then gasket match everything.

Honestly the exhaust is an easy fix compared to intake on my heads.

Oddly enough, both the same casting number yet one head was much better in terms of the "alignment" of the two halves of the casting.
