Also, it's not going to pull in hot air from there since the filter is closer to the headlight and it has these two gaping holes to pull cool air through:

And this one, where you see the PCM:

And you know this how? Any testing? A lot of statements coming from someone who hasn't even tried one but "has seen one before". I've seen California on the map, so I know everything about it.

Fact is, you're modded box is pulling air through a smaller tube, which has to get air through a filter with less surface area, all while still using a ribbed accordion tube which causes tons of turbulence. Simple logic will tell anyone it is not getting the same amount of air. The WizAired made 17WHP over a MSP box on a modded GTP in head to head dyno testing. Yeah, a stock air box will keep up.

Now, do you have any numbers?

I, nor others, have no complaints about the overall quality of it despite what I paid. Not sure which generation of the WizAired you saw, but the latest gen looks just fine in my eyes. Brushed aluminum and a look that makes it seem its supposed to be there. I know several Impala owners with the Wiz who win car shows. David99GTP has the latest Wiz and competes in some big name events. If it looked cheap, he probably wouldn't win. Seems you're grasping for straws to bash it.

The WizAired insulation is the same high quality stuff available for building construction. I found it at Lowes (for a high dollar price, I might add) and it has similar ratings. Not sure what you're getting at.
I dont disagree with your statments, but pulling numbers would be interesting to compare. And I am guessing that I may have seen a previous version ? I have though heard alot of people on this forum stat that the tube and box itself is pretty flimsy, again I dont know what version though.
