Hey guys.
Ok so I kept getting a misfire on cylinder one. I did a test on my injectors, and cylinder one injector failed the pulse test so I put new injectors in. Problem got better, but still there. I was reading and it said it could be bad vacuum lines. I looked and found about 3 bad vacuum, elbows. So i replaced those. I also found my vacuum line cracked from my throttle body to my purge. so i replaced that stock (hard hose) with just some 5/32" vacuum hose. But the nipple on the throttle body is bigger than the hose, so for the time being (so I can get an actually elbow) i just used a bigger hose, then reduced it down into 5/32" hose gradually. I also replaced my boost/vacuum gauge hose with 7/64" I.D. hose. Now, the misfire is gone, BUT, i have a higer idle (say 1400 rpm) and I keep getting my PO107 code....saying my MAP/BARO sensor low input. Would any of my vacuum lines cause this? My T-pipe is in near the MAP sensor for my boost gauge, but its never thrown a code.
My question is, is if using the wrong size vacuum hose (5/32") causes the problem, then what? The hose looked the same size as the other elbow pieces and "hard hose" from my throttle body to purge valve.
Hope you guys know something...this is starting to piss me off just a bit![]()
