Ok so i have a 98 grand prix gtp, just wondering if anyone has any experience with zzp's 3" full exhaust this one right here.
    ZZPerformance - 3 Inch 304 Stainless Catback Exhaust #ZZ-3GPCBSS
i will be ordering it with the 3" downpipe with cat, no reasonator (it will come with a 3" pipe in place of it), & the dual round tip zzp mufflers. i plan on ordering this on thursday.

I understand with no reasonator and this larger exhuast it will be much louder, gain a few hp, & a little mpgs if i stay off it.
So if anyone has had experience with these exhaust systems any input would be great. Thanks

    I'm sure many have.

Its going to be loud and most likely drone alot with no res and ZZP mufflers.

The metal they use will be good quality and will last a long while.

You might gain 10ish HP with the downpipe and thats about it.

They discontinued the flo pro 2 chamber mufflers, my kit would come with the new 3 chamber mufflers so less droning.

This. Loud as hell and very raspy. Your not goin to gain much noticeable hp w/ it. Save money...get headers...will improve way more then a 3" exhaust and add mufflers of your choice on to the stock catback and enjoy. Unless your getting around 350hp to the wheels...your not going to outflow your stock exhaust.

its probably too big of an exhaust for your car, stick with a 2.5" system.

    Stick with stock catback.

If you have that much coin you want to waste on a ZZP Catback and Downpipe...just buy their headers instead...little more sound out of the stock catback and much better power gains over the downpipe.

Also, MPG's should increase as well...moreeeeflowwww

Would I lose any power if I got the 3" down pipe to the y then its dual 2.25? With mufflers. I don't think so cause its not a straight threw exhaust.

I understand theres not much of a need that I'd only gain around 15hp & around 2-3 mpg but I want that and it to be louder like I can barley hear my car start...

Echoing what everyone has already said. ZZP exhaust is loud and very raspy. Save your money and if you want a different tone just purchase two mufflers and have a exhaust shop weld them on....bingo a different sound and more money in your pocket. Avoid the downpipe get a set of headers instead for $200 that will be more beneficial. I did the dirty work for you... link below.

Oh and stop believing everything you read on a vendors site about hp gain. Most of it depends on your car in particular some do better w/ mods etc and also a tune is going to maximize that. Your driving habit is going to increase or decrease your mpg not so much mods. Read bluegtp91 thread...all this questions have been asked before...he took the time out to make it to avoid common threads like this...read it and understand it like the bible.

i would not buy 200$ headers, they have to be cheaply made. you get what you pay for

    Ever installed a set?

    Done about half a dozen.

They are just as good as the thousand dollar headers.

    Good call.

Then stick to speaker advice and not header advice?
