Last time I did this I used a black sealant I had at home and all was leak free. This time I ordered from ZZP - AC Delco Engine Sealant (light gray colour). Anyone confirm this is ok stuff to use?

Is it rtv? Namely the stuff used by late models for oil pan gasket and front cover gasket?

If so its good for that application.

Doesn't say anything but engine sealant part 88864346 - does say it has ingredients that are known to cause cancer!! wtf unless most sealants do?

I used the Delco gray sealant on my LIM job and it's been just fine. Got it at the dealer. And yes, most sealants, solvents, oils, etc. are known to cause cancer. This is for long periods of time and exposure (cumulative effect). Just wash your hands good after or use some latex gloves and call it good.
