1998 gtp supercharger whine question

I have seen some videos on youtube and when they rev the engine the supercharger whines. Mine does not. Is it supposed to or no? how do i know if it is working properly? I just replaced the couplers and the oil about 500 miles ago and it didnt help any.

I do not. Come to realize all the youtube videos they do have an intake lol. duh. Ill have to put one on.
