I found a write up on installing gauges but it does not answer my question. I am putting in an A pillar gauge pod with three gauges an Aero FOrce Easy hook up then an Oil Pressure and a Bosst Gauge. Now I know how to wire them but what is the easiest way to get the Wires and the Vacum hose in to the engine compartment from the Pod

I use a grommet near where the steering goes through. It's the same grommet your hood latch cable goes through.

I'm in the same boat as the OP. How did you get the vac line through the grommet?

Well, I ran wire. But, if I had to do a vacuum line, I'd take a clothes hanger, feed it through, bend the end just right so it'll tear a small hole as it goes back through, then pull it back.

When I did my wire, I just shoved it through, made a loop to tie the wires to, then pulled it back.

Down below the brake master cylinder. Kinda below, and towards the strut tower.

Here is a picture of the area people are referring to on the driver side of the car.

I used the Copper hose for my boost guage. It was a lot sturdier and was very flexible without possibly getting pinched like the plastic hosing can. The Copper can pinch, no doubt, but it takes a lot more for it to get pinched. And the cost difference was negileable between the two

Its from Autometer. Its approx 6' in length. Just enough to run the tubing from underneather the driver side gromet to the Evap at the rear of the engine to connect to, and then enough tubing to make it to the first opening on the A Pillar comfortably.

I got it at a local Speed Shop here in St. Louis or you can order it off the Autometer Site or Jeggs or any other big online retailor.

Here are some more picutures of the routing of the copper tubing I did.

This shot shows it leading up the side of the car to the A Pillar.

Here you can see the tubing coming up from the Grommet area of the firewall inside the engine bay.

Sorry for the blurred picture on this one, but here you can see where I cut the vaccum line and inserted the T into it. I used some Silicone paste to help seal the T onto the Copper Tubing. Had I of looked better, on the Evap Sensor, I could have pulled that end off and simply hooked into it there without splicing anything.

Lesson learned for next time around

I got the add a circuit but it seems that I have to turn on the lights for it to work. What fuse should I tap in to or do I have to tap in to the ACC for like the radio or something

The Wiper Circuit worked but the gauges do not dim with the Dimmer I connected the dimmer wire to the wire in the harness on the drivers side like the write up shows. Any Ideas

You have the blue gauges? If so, the dimmer wire does nothing.

I'm not sure about that then. I have the blue Prosport gauges and they don't have dimmer function. All their other colors do.

I just jumped the Lighting to the power I really do not care about the dimming but My Oil Pressure gauge jumps to max everytime I hit a bump I think something is loose but what should my gauge read at Idle? My boost gauge and Aeroforce gauges are working perfectly. Also for the ground on the Oil Pressure sending unit I just used a bolt under my frame of the car I think that should be a good ground
