Well i already have an a-pillar with Volts, Boost, and a Narrowband (So Junk). So im planning on buying a HUD Pod and replacing my narrowband as well. In my a-pillar i will have Volts/Boost/Aeroforce and in my HUD pod i would like a Wideband and possibly trans temp? not sure. Now heres my question..

1: Is a Wideband worth the money? Im planning on modding my car to a basic 3.4 setup but thats not for a long time down the road, but eventually it will get there. Should i go ahead and buy a wideband or will it be completely worthless to me?

2: Whats a another good gauge to get to monitor? It will be sitting in my HUD pod and i was thinking Trans Temp. but whats others opinions?

Trans temp is best done with an aeroforce.

WB is only useful if you ever intend to tune the car or change MAF, or injectors etc.

Then what gauges should I get? Aeroforce is a must, but what other two should I get to fill the HUD pod?

wideband is a must, for sure.

it not only allows you to see what your AFR actually is, but it can also help diagnose things like running your injectors static. running lean (or very rich) are both huge issues.

Even just EVENTUALLY running only a 3.4 setup? Nothing to crazy in mods. Money isnt an issue i just wanna check to see if $200 is worth it before i spend it. But i still need one more gauge to fill the HUD pod, whats your suggestion?

it's always going to be useful.

whether or not you need it is fairly irrelevant. your tune will never be 100% spot on without a wideband to refer to.

there are only 2(3) gauges that I am convinced anyone actually "needs".... aeroforce (MAYBE 2 of these) and a wideband... anything else is really just for looks in the end...

why do you have a volts gauge? i think you should get an aeroforce and wideband maybe oil pressure too and keep your boost. scine you already have the other gauges hooked up get a HUD pod ditch the narrow band and buy dual aeroforces and a wideband

I have volts because my alternator went out and left me stranded 3 hours from home on a road trip with my girlfriend. So i bought volts gauge, so i dont ever get stranded again from the alternator.

Couple problems of that, Didnt have a spare alternator laying around, i was in the middle of no where, not a clue where i was, just following my GPS. Nearest Autozone was 50 miles away. That would of been a long walk too.
