I have a coolant leak coming from my EGR Tube, connected to the LIM. (Right where the bolt and tube connects at the manifold itself). Its really odd for it to be leaking from that area. Im pretty sure that section is for the exhaust gases. Im thinking the LIM is cracked right in that area... Hopefully my heads aren't cracked... I replaced the LIM gaskets to the Felpro Aluminum set thinking that the rubber sides were the "fail spot", but I guess I overlooked it, cause I put everything back together to find that the problem wasn't fixed. I also checked the maifold for any cracks or weird spots before putting it back together, but I didnt find any, so maybe its one of those awesome hairline cracks that you cant see by eye. Is there any way to have it inspected/inspect it yourself for cracks...? off the car? Besides the obvious, looking at it, cause I sure didn't see any cracks. My engine oil is not mixed, Im not blowing out water from the exhaust. But is there a possibility for a cracked head as well? Its really odd. I repair most of my vehicles issues, and I've never seen this happen before. If anyone can help to determine this issue, I would really appreciate it, and see what my next step should be.
