Hey all.. question for you. Got in my car yesterday, turned the key and it wouldn't start. It was cranking, but wouldn't fire up. After a minute or two, it started up very hesitantly, but then started rather violently revving itself from 600-4k very quickly. It was as if I was alternating slamming the gas and brake pedal. Went to drive it a bit and it just bogged completely down while revving away. Shut it off and let it sit, started up and got the same thing. Revved it myself in neutral... same thing. Just went back to low idle and high revs. Went on for about 10 minutes. Finally shut it off one last time, started up and it was perfectly fine... as if nothing happened.

Thoughts? I did a tune up 5k miles ago with new plugs and wires. No SES lights or codes.

Was going to be my next step, but alas... she only got pissed off long enough to show me who wears the pants in the relationship and then all was fine. I'll check the fuse when I leave work.

I think they are autolite APP606's. Can't remember off the top of my head.

When in drive, if I used the gas, it was as if TC came on and cut the fuel off. I couldn't accelerate very much at all... i got up to maybe 15mph. After I let off, it went back to revving hard and I looked like an idiot trying to mimic hydraulics.
