Yeah, take bad advice from 3 random internet people instead of experience advice from 1 person.
Simple fact is, its been done before. E85 cars do not need 10.5:1 afr to be safe... they can run significantly leaner, which is the reason why you can skip down passed a 3.2. Also the fact the car is otherwise stock will reduce the fuel requirement at the 3.0/3.2 pulley level.
I would hope that if I could make almost 500whp on 60s and e86, someone could make 300whp on 42s.
