    I have a 07 GP GT 3.8 Series III Supercharged.

    I picked up some Autolite 104 plugs and a 180* T-stat today. I do have a Overkill PCM on its way and will be changing to a 3.5 pully.

    1. Is this the right plug for my car?
    2. What Gap is recomended.

    Yup you are right on. Those are the plugs i plan on getting for my car also [when i get home from school].

    A .055 gap is recommended or so i hear.

    Yep .055 will be good, and just and fyi, I hope you have some exhaust mods on your mod list cause dropping to a 3.5" will be a bit much without some. Remember you do have a Gen V.

    I appreciate the information from all. what exhaust mod are we talking about. What exhaust mod keeps me inline with my Factory warranty.

    i would get a power log. the front manifold is garbage. when your car is cool, go out and reach under the front maifold and feel it. its not round, it actually sucks in and if you pull it off you can see how restrictive it is. its easy to swap out with the stock mani so you could swap it back for the stock one if you have to take it back to a dealer

    thanks all for the recomendations. Is ZZP the best place to get a Plog? Also can't I leave the Plog on when I go to the dealer? Why or why not?

    They're the only place to get the Plog. They designed it.

    As for the dealer, it won't void all of your warranty, if they even care. It's not like your windows stop working and they blame the Plog. I can see them possibly raising a stink about anything exhaust related. But that's up to the dealer.

    If you're wanting to drop a pulley, they might notice that too and it'd cause more warranty issues that the Plog would.

    Both. But I can tell you from experience that the stainless holds heat as well as most ceramic coatings. Stainless is stronger, too. If you want to pony up the $80 for ceramic, go for it.

    many of you have been very helpful, but I wanted to drill down a little more a a few things.

    What trouble am I looking to get into if I add a Plog, autolight 104, a 3.5 pully with GB belt, and a overkill pcm. I have my factory PCM so I can switch it before I go into the dealer, but I don't fee like pulling off the plog or the pully when i go in to the dealer. You mention that the plog might cause warranty issues with the exhaust. Why would a pully drop cause any issues?

    I have of course the 100,00 power train warranty and I have a addtional extended warranty for 48 months/48,000 what ever comes first.
    I bought my car a few months back with 28,000 miles on it so I have coverage to 2011 or 76,000 which ever comes first.

    You would have to talk to the dealer to be sure about what would void your warranty. I have no idea what would or wouldn't void your warranty.

    What that said i would imagine that exhaust work [or an intake] wouldn't void warranty because it can really only help the car perform better and extend the life of the engine. A pulley on the other hand is adding more boost which could be potentially harmful to the engine [without the right supporting mods].

    Because the smaller pulley puts more stress on every engine component. Anything fails, they can blame that pulley.

    If you want to mod, you should forget about your warranty. Better to save the warranty money in a bank account for when something goes wrong. As you get deeper into modding, though, you usually replace the parts that are going to go bad anyway.

    Ya that's one of the trade offs from using copper plugs. They are cheap and perform better, but need to be changed more frequently. I'm not sure about changing them every 10k miles though cause that seems a little too frequent.

    sheet...i got the AL 104's double plat. not sure about these...Havent even installed them...they look like a Bia to change the ones on the rear side of the motor...scared i'll crack the glass on the plug...

    So I have gutted my air box whicle I wait for my CAI. I have a Overkill PCM and AL 104.
    Now the question is are the AL 104's correct for my current mods? I have them gapped at .55

    Yep the AL 104's will be fine for your mods.
