i feel like my car does not have the "get up and go" it should with my mods.

not completely sure where to begin checking.

    as reference, i barely beat a 6spd G35 from a 60 punch.

If you ever find your way to Houston, check out Tengis at Moar Performance. Ditch the general tune and get a tune for your car.

03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.

Probably better options than going to houston for a tune.

In the end a shop in the area or a local tuner will cost him less than spending a tank of gas each way to houston and back.

I agree, thats why I was saying if he ever finds himself in Houston. If there's an option up there, do it.

And you taking a G35 from 60 with those mods makes me think the G35 needed a driver mod.

Cant see your mods on tapatalk if they are in your sig. But I took a g35 sedan auto when I was 1.9s, ic, on a 3.4 with ease. A tune will definitely help but before that how is the maintence on the car tune up wise. Plugs, fuel filter, pcv, etc all done recently?

Be prepared to go through a tank or 2 of gas when you tune. Traveling to Houston for a tune from someone who knows these cars well is absolutely worth a tank of gas to get there.

    Here's one problem.

    Cam/Ported everything/Headers...and you're still on a 3.5"?

Get a tune and pulley down that b1tch...should be able to get away with a 3.25" with ease.

so basically what i have gathered from this is, i need a more specific tune, my engine breathes too much and is no longer efficient, which is why i need to pulley down to a 3.25

as for maintenance, i bought this car with crap tons of problems, i just finished rebuilding the top end at the machine shop i work at. ported the SC and ground out the casting sticking out in the exhaust ports on my heads.

had to replace front main seal, i just replaced the PCV valve but i have a breather on my valve cover, so its no longer a sealed system.

i do have a question about the PCV in the supercharger. the plastic tube that is extends down to the mating surface of the LIM, it is not completely centered, it is crooked, pushed off to the side, but i cant move it. is this normal?

i will be cheaking fuel pressure at the fuel rail, to diagnose any loss of fuel pressure due to the pump or filter. i ran my injectors here at school on our flow bench, all the injector patterns looked good, flowed right at stock levels, none of them leaked. heck i even sonic cleaned them.. so the injectors are fine.

oh also i tried to race a S2000 here but the guy kept jumping the gun, he had intake/header/exhaust. he jumped the gun the second time again getting a 2 car jump, started reeling him in and then he let off before i could get up to him. this was from a 50 punch

i dunno, seems like the car should be faster to me.
