150 lb springs

I found a set of crow cams 150lb springs and was wondering if I should get them or if they were too high spring pound for 1.9 ratio roller rockers. I was planning on just getting the 105lb set but these ones cost the same so im wondering if the adage more is better is true in this case.

wrong and wrong...

The bigger the spring does not really directly hurt or help you... for every spring you are compressing with the cam, there is a spring that is pushing down on the cam... so you would really struggle to measure a problem with extra issues there. The timing chain is also in this same boat... its the cam profile and idle speed that hurts your timing chain not the 5% increase of resistance turning the camshaft.

The problem with 150# springs would probably be the fact that rocker bolts like to explode on springs bigger than 130s
