    I got a dtc po449 which is evap emissiom selonoid malfunction. so I changed the solenoid cleared the code and still have it popping up gonna do a new gas cap next any ideas if that doesnt make it go away?

    I don't know if the tank pressure transducer would cause that code. Try the cap and see what happens.

    check the wiring going to the solenoid? and which solenoid? because there's a purge solenoid and a vent solenoid
    99 GT - top swapped, S2X cam. - sadly, sold

    Actually P0452 and P0453 are for the pressure tansducer - low voltage/high voltage.

    I replaced the cap still got the code

    Which solenoid did you replace, vent or purge?

    I replaced the purge selonoid. it is the one on the s/c.

    Well try replacing the vent solenoid and make sure the tubing isn't jacked up. Vent solenoid should be in the rear driver's side fender well. The PCM activates the vent solenoid (normally open) to do a pressure test on the tank. If this is stuck open it'll set a code. The solenoid may be clogged as well.

    That's actually what the code is telling you.

    like, the one IN the supercharger? because that's the pcv valve... but yeah, the vent solenoid is the one that tends to go bad with w-bodys and n-bodys
