Woah there cowboy. You need to tell us what car you drive, the trim level, and the year before we can even try to help you.
But.
I'll be a nice guy and take a stab in the dark. You have a 2004-2008 base model and traction control is permanently on - you're poking at a placeholder for the button, not a button. Stop worrying about it.
Its a 2001 GTP 40th edition, it hasen't worked since i purchased the car, just recently had the wheel hub and the abs fixed because their was a light on, now however i miss spinning the tires every now and again, and though there are no more lights on the dash, the traction control button does nothing
So what do you get when you spin the tires? Do you get a low trac light, or do they just spin? Feel any hesitation when they try to spin?
they spin for a second but then it seems like they limit themselves, before i had the abs and hubs replaced i could spin them all day long
i use to be be able spin my tires all day, but since i had the abs and hubs fixed, it significantly reduced my wheel spin
So... you're complaining that you can't break your transmission? You know... that part that costs like $1500 to rebuild?
i was under the impression the GTP models didnt come with traction control. or atleast on my 97 model
