    So on my way home for lunch going about 90, then my low oil presure light came on......right away i was like I put some oil i had in the motor so i could limp it home only 2 blocks away. I jacked up the car and oil it coming from the oil neck for the filter, i lost a rod cause i can here it banging around when i crank over the motor........so here come the new build
    1. JE Forged Pistons .20 over
    2. ZZP 4340 H-Beam Connecting Rods (Roating assambley will be balanced)
    3. 8 Rib SFI Balancer (not sure)
    4. XP Cam
    5. Rollermaster Double Chain
    6. 60 lb injectors
    7. Intercooler
    8. 3.2 pulley
    9. ARP mains and rod bolts
    10. Port the heads more
    11. Have block heat tanked, decked, and new freeze plugs installed
    12. All new bearings

    Woot, new motor time.

    But why not just toss a short block in it, instead of wasting 3 grand on internals.

    What mods were on it when it blew?

    Was it tuned?

    Yes it was tuned. XP cam, double chain, 105 springs IIRC, 42.5 injectors, 3.4 pulley

    I tuned it myself with some help, idr my wot timing, and my afr and the time it let got was like 14.9
