As I said before though, If you don't already have an intercooler you are going to have to run an external heat exchanger AND a pump. Running it off the stock coolant lines would be stupid.

If you don't have an IAT sensor in the LIM then eh....I would more rather see how much this thing cools the air coming out of the supercharger (Which I don't it doing much if any but could be wrong). I could care less how cold my blower is if it's doing nothing for the air coming out it because I am not rubbing and caressing my supercharger while driving.

yes i think like stated before that this mod is def. a last mod kinda thing... you will probably not see any difference unless you are intercooled already.

this seems pointless, kinda dumb, and a waste of money.
    This doesn't make any sense.
Id have to see dyno #'s to prove me wrong.

I bet it works like a charm and does all they will claim.

But for 450 I'd rather blow it at the casino or something.

All day long gt500 blowers sell for 450 shipped, usually with zero miles, the whole thing. Not sayig that's an option on a grand prix but gives you an idea of the cost it takes to make parts for it, including a snout with a water jacket.

I seem to fail to understand the thermo dynamics that says a cooler snout equals a more efficient compressor map.

Funny thing is I went to Stieges today and he can't hardly keep up with the demand for these "Venom Coolers". They're litterally selling like hotcakes. One gent sent in two brand new Stillen blowers for late model F150's to have them installed, shipped straight from the manufacturer. Today. And there's more new stuff coming out........

Why is it that whenever someone wants to try something new everyone bashes them and says it won't work or your stupid or something along those lines, why don't we just sit back and wait for some results before jumping to conclusions.

Why don't people come make threads about new stuff after there is information to back it up instead of before.

I question everything..That is how I won't lose $400 if this thing turns out to be a flop.

One thing I learned a long time about about the mustang community is the fact 99% of them are gullible and dumb as rocks. The fact that rouch actually sells parts in the aftermarket is the true testament to that fact.

Where is the proof from the cobra world... There has to be cars out there that you can bolt this contraption onto and show rwhp gains right?

Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhat!?!?! Most of the heat, in a supercharger, comes from the snout!? This statement alone makes no sense. Most people understand that two large rotors spinning at high speeds within .001 mm of each other is where most of the heat comes from. Yea, the snout does generate SOME heat, but not nearly as much as the rotors themselves.

And looking at our roots blower..........the snout isn't even CONNECTED to the LIM................so any heat produced at the snout has to go through the case of the blower to get to the LIM, etc, etc....heatsoak. Why try to put a fire out with a water bottle, when I can put it out with a bucket of water?

Spur gears are rated at 98 to 99 percent efficiency. If we are driving our superchargers with 100 hp at full boost the is 2 hp loss or 2 hp worth of heat. 1 hp is 745 watts or 1490 watts for 2 hp. That's not a lot of heat but it goes into the snout and the oil which has no cooling. The supercharger belt is also generating heat which is going into the pulley and shaft adding more heat.

Sounds to me like someone should develope a pulley that blows air like a fan as it spins and blow air onto the snout of the blower!

Pretty little. It doesn't take much power to to make sound, how many watts is the sound system in a car?
