Do you need to switch coil pack brackets, or is that part of the SS M90 kit?
i neevr had a problem with the single belt slipping, im dropping down to a 3.0 pulley and this is the best bet. anyone have pictures of where and how the idlers and chit mount?
I take it you're running stock springs on ER rockers?
If so, the valve float there isn't a "myth". Only a possibility that the designer of the ER rockers says can happen. He recommends 105# springs on the intake, but stock is fine for exhaust.
/tangent
Like I said, it's not a for sure. He said it was just a possibility due to the lift the stock cam provides on the intake and not so much on the exhaust. He knows a hell of a lot more about it than anyone else since he designed the damn things. I'm inclined to believe them.
And how do you know if you have valve float? The only way to know for sure is if a piston impacts a valve. And that only happens in severe cases. Mild cases you could never know you're losing some compression due to a late closing intake valve at high RPM.
valve float is a myth? are you on crack? yeah, it doesnt happen that often, but i bet if you upped your shift points to about 7k youd see your valves floating all over the place.
7k is asking for a piston to hit a valve, regardless of what rockers or springs you have.
