So I installed the s1x. Figured I'd throw the dial indicator on it and see what the installed centerline is. Can someone give me the specs as to where it should be installed at.

Feel like this is the slowest build on earth but with juggling work, sick kids, and a operation or two in there its not to bad..

My other question is about the balance shaft.. I'll assume that you just line all the dots up at #1tdc.. just wanted to make sure before i button this thing up and stuff it in.

I would delete the balance shaft... I can keep your timing high enough that it wont be a big deal.

as far as the cam install goes, you are probably going to be stuck keeping the install angle stock by just lining the dots up. Installing it advanced or retarded is not particularly easy with stock timing gears.

I was gonna show my friends son how to check center line.. Only reason I'd change it is if it was way out.

Well, the cam key and dots on the timing gears are going to be about it...

Anybody ever run these valve covers?? Mine are warped and melted so I'm looking for a new pair. Not to keen on spending 200+ for zzp's so I was looking for some stock replacements and came across these. http://www.silver-seal.com/product/I...ed=0CF0QgwgwAQ

There is a guy in the classifieds section selling some aluminum stockers. I'll buy those if he's still got em' but I'm trying to find other options if he doesn't.

Ok, that's what i needed to know. I have a 04 gtp so I'll assume they wont work. The ones in the classifieds probably wont work either ..

You need l67 or l32 valve covers.
