I decided to put my stock PCM back in to try to fix the problem I have been having which can be found here: http://www.grandprixforums.net/rpms-...ing-58482.html

Well, now my car runs like sh*t. I stepped on it and it was extremely hesitant and jumpy for the first little bit. After about 5 mins it wasnt as jumpy, but it still felt like it was lacking a lot of power. When I stepped on it again it shifted to 2nd gear and I heard a loud squeak. I tried it twice and both times the squeak was loud between the 1-2 shift. I decided to drive it home and park it until I can figure out whats wrong.

It wasnt hesitant and I never heard that squeak with the overkill PCM in.

    Any ideas?

No codes yet, I might take it for a quick drive again to see if anything pops up.

And lol that sucks, no wonder your acceleration wasnt as good haha.

It should be common knowledge that the dhp has always been the best pcm box tune.

what was the maf code? a bad maf can cause your shift points to be messed up.

Im not sure, I cleaned it and it went away. I had p0403 and p0405 pop up on me when I went outside. I forgot to plug the EGR in, so I plugged it cleared the codes and took it for a ride and no improvement. The acceleration is extremely "jerky".

Or, unplug the MAF and take it around the block and see if the trans shifts any better...

Too add, what kind of mileage is on the car (in that 'merican numerals...not that kilo mess, lol.) and has the transmission ever been serviced, pan drop, filter change, shift kit, etc.

Ill try unplugging the MAF and see if its any better. It has around 115,000 MILES and as far as I know the tranny hasn't been serviced.

Could be a clogged trans filter...mine is starting to act up now...check the fluid when you can...should be red-er than your car color...and shouldn't smell burnt...if it does, that COULD very well be the "underlying" issue.

Trans fluid looks bright red. Unplugged the MAF and the car ran like a champ, no sloppy shifts and smooth acceleration.
