Well i got up this morning to go to work and the car pooped out on me. I did my usual thing, put the key in turned it to on, let the pump prime before i started it, crank it up. Ran good for about a minute, went to back out and it started sputtering i made it about ten feet and it died. I thought i could have been out of gas so i added about a gallon. Got back, in primed it a few times and tried to start it, no go. Noticed the fuel pump has a different tone now. Doesn't sound normal at all. I replaced the pump about a year ago, but i'm thinking its the culprit. The guys I work with used to work at O'really's where i got the pump and they said there pumps are garbage so that is probably it.

Also, the temp got down in the 40s last night for the first time in quite a while. It has been in the 90s - 70s for the past 4 months, doubt that would have any effect but never know

Have you ever run it out of gas? That is really hard on the pump. Time to get a fuel pressure test on it.

i have but it was before i changed the pump the first time. it runs kinda low sometimes but nothing excessive. It hasn't really acted up until this morning. I could clearly tell the pump sounded different then usual though.
