okay, so i have a left over vac hose, after putting everything together from my gtp i just got, that was someone else's project

there is a vac hose that comes up from the passenger fenderwell and goes around the back of the engine on the firewall.

what is this?? it stalls my car everytime i hook it to the middle nipple of the boost vac tree on the SC

Center nipple should be the HVAC vacuum canister that is located under the front driverside, but follows the longest possible path around the engine bay and along the front bumper support.

That little guy makes your car stall, hmmm
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

You know what.. he doesn't even have the AC vacuum canister hooked up, this is why my AC does not work and probably why it stalls out and doesn't let car start either.
Fyi its a 97 with 98+ blower and LIM so its routed to 98+ vac routing

I think in your year the air diverter aka defrost/floor/center vents is the only thing controlled by the HVAC vacuum line. The rest is electrical actuators. So no.. it's not the reason your AC doesn't work.

Had my 97 routed the same for vacuum, had an 00+ alternator and bracket all sorts of stuff.. None of that has anything to do with this one line though. Follow it over next to the fuse box. See the check valve? now follow it over across the front of the car etc to the canister.
