I have a bone stock 04 comp and my goal is to get low 14s. Does anyone have an idea if ebay s peedaddys an overkill pcm , fwi , 180 tstat and 104s will be enough I do plan on staying with the 3.8 pulley until I get my wideband and scanner. Any input would be appreciated thanks.

i think that setup will net you mid 14's, and good move on not dropping a pulley until you can scan for knock.

    104's would be too cold.

    Try 605's.

IMO I'd skip the 180º thermo aswell, 195º works just fine. Lower tstat is I guess only a piece of mind type of thing today and a slight drop in mpgs can happen because its always running colder. If you're gunna be hot lapping it then a 180 may be a good idea, but for a DD I doubt you will be.

And just make a intake, dont buy one.

Thanks fellas seems like good info. Would the 104 be good if I dropped pulley size though?

if you dropped to a 3.5/3.6 pulley that would be a good plug to use.

Probably wouldn't need 104's until you could get down to 3.5"/3.4" pulley... intake, headers, 1.9 ROCKERS, and a tune, minimum. 605's would probably be good for intake, headrs, tune, 3.6" pulley.

Remember: If you're not scanning for knock retard, you're doing it wrong.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

    low 14's?

    Put on slicks.

    Take to track.

Pray you don't shred an input shaft, and if you hook, say hi to mid 13's with those 3.29's.
