You don't need to remove that when doing LIM gaskets...

The hose going to the boost bypass valve stays on, the one going to the firewall pops out easily with a flat head screwdriver. thats all you need to remove.

Twist the hoses then pull. A twist will break them loose and then you should be able to pull them off. You might want to use a pair of needle nose pliers and push the vacuum hoses off. Hoses are easier to fix then the vacuum fitting on the supercharger.

also do you have to get the gas out of the lines going to the injectors. Reading the Haynes manual it tells you to releive the gas pressure. iDo i really have to do this part. The bad thing is I have taken the belts off and drained radiator already.

You are disconnecting the fuel rail to replace the lower gaskets, correct? All you have to do is push on the bleeder in the fuel rail to relieve pressure.. They are probably telling you to get it all out to avoid getting any in the oil?.... But, if ur gonna do the work, change ur oil when ur done...

Yes I am will be disconnectiong the fuel rail, thanks for the advice on how to relieve the pressure. This is my first time working on this car and do not want to screw up anything. Once I am done I have to do the water pump too. Should be fun. As I go I am labeling everything and taking pictures. I am going to watch that video again.

No prob. I'm new around here, but I've been turning wrenches for quite awhile. Alot of the same things apply for any vehicle. Just take ur time when ur working on the motor... Labeling things and taking pics can be a huge help on the assembly process.

I already broke a nipple damn it, oh well live and learn. I still rather break a part of a hose rather then paying a shop 600 bucks to do this job.I have to do the water pump while I am at it. It sux because I need a long socket to get the coil pack off. Off to the store to get some tools.

Got the injectors off and notice ione of the gasket broken and one is missing. Also the hole where the injectors go are surrounded by dirt and oil. What's the best way to clean it?

your going to need new O rings for the injectors. and Q tips work good for cleaning out the holes there.

it would have been best to have gunked/degreased the engine before starting the job to help clean things up, just clean all the parts you remove real good. dont clean the inside of the supercharger, just the outside. and clean your throttle body up real good while its off too.

put the injectors back in before you attack that... you dont want that washing into your intake runners.
