Kind of a stupid question but is it necessary to open up a bit your heads when buying a ported lower intake? What are the side effects of not doing it?

Ported lim isn't giving you any gains so what's the point of that?

Not worth it unless you want to just polish them.

A step will be very detrimental to performance.

was told that getting a ported intake with a gen v will give me a little gain than a non-ported one will. Also got one for somewhat cheap so thats mainly the point.

    How detrimental are you talking?
