I'm thinking about deleting my egr to clean up my engine bay and make it easier to work on crap at the back of the motor. I know it'll throw a code but how much of a hit would my gas mileage take?

maybe 1-2 mpgs, but a custom tune can make it stay the same by adjusting the cruise tables.

I don't know about the GP, but I can tell you I saw zero sufferings from the EGR delete on my Stealth. In fact, I would bet I gained fuel mileage. When I parked the car I was getting 24-25 mpg daily driving it, when it was rated at 19 city/24 highway from the factory.

I deleted mine a while ago and never looked back. engine bay looks cleaner and is easier to work on. Do you have anyone to delete the code?

**** the environment! Nuclear warfare is going to kill everything living anyway.

The MPG loss won't be overly substantial. Like others have said, tune for mpgs.
