So I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to tell the difference between a bad supercharger coupler and bad snout bearings. I have a noise coming from the snout at idle but it almost sounds like its coming from the center of the snout.

Remove the belt, and rotate the pulley back and forth. If it has play in it as you're turning it it's the coupler. Snout bearings will not have a smooth rotation to them, and they will usually start to squeal.
Here is a little video with the noise. You have to listen closely over the intake.

here is vid on how to change that coupler. take the belt off and check for play, if so this is what you need to do.

anaerobic sealer is the correct they to use, I have not had one leak using the right stuff rtv tho.
Does anybody know if the black Christmas tree plug in the end of the supercharger shaft is necessary? I tore mine up pretty bad and wasn't sure if I should order a new one.
