I need new wires and plan on installing a CAI, shift kit, and other mads this summer. Would it be safe to get some prj wires if not, whats my best bet?

Delco Replacements. No point in spending extra money on things that won't benefit you.

    Rockauto should have AC-Delco wires.

Or you could just order some Taylor wires from Summit Racing. They even look similar to the PRJ wires for a LOT less

PRJ uses Taylor wires. They cost what they do because they also include MSD boots.

horses have nothing to do with PRJ's wires. It's all about spark and the amount of insulation on them. You can stuff then under an SC snout wtih an IC etc etc and have the wires take abuse. They work great and work great for a damn long time. Plus..Paul can fix them for you if there's ever a problem.

Sure others can make them for less. Look at the ZZP example... poor quality in assembly. Although this may not be the issue if you get the proper tools to assemble. I know a guy that was going to make a set.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I know this is old, but don't the prj have special connectors that can be taken off easily and put back on? Are there other wires that do this? That's basically the only reason I was considering them

Taylors from Summit, they come off fine, their durable, they cost the same as Delco's. Ive had mine off probably 10 or 15 times and they still clip on like new.

I'm still confused that a parts store in Detroit doesn't have Delco wires. Regardless, no-name store brand works fine, too.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.
