My GTP is constantly overheating, I put water in the radiator and the resevoir and it seems to burn that up in about a day. It doesn't leak out, no holes in the hoses or cracks in the radiator. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Fill the rad and res to HOT mark, Then I want you to follow the upper rad hose to the Lower Intake manifold where the Thermostat housing is. Then on top of that is a small bleed screw, should be a 7mm or 8mm socket. Then you should turn it open 1-2 turns.
Go start the car and allow it to reach operating temp, this will take 5-10 min prolly. At this time, you will most likey see coolant start to come out of the bleed screw along with air, wait till the coolant coming out is a steady stream with no air bubbles, this may take a while aswell to ciculate all the air and coolant around. Once its a steady stream, close the bleeder and go take it for a drive to see if it still wants to over heat.
Alright man I bled it went for a drive and when I parked it I hear this rumbling it was the hot water/coolant cycling back to the resevoir then there was a puddle in my garage. I think the puddle came from the hot coolant dumping out of the resevoir and I noticed the O-ring on my radiator cap is busted. Any thoughts?
It drove normal for about 15 minutes then it started to get HOT.
replace the rad cap and do what I said again. Its letting air into the cooling system which then bubbles and and cause's hot pockets and makes the coolant and car start to over heat.
First thing to know about cooling systems is that air is bad, very bad.
thanks for the heads up man. I replaced the radiator cap today seems good to go it's holding water/coolant. Does adding antifreeze really make a difference? I live in Hawaii so I'm pretty sure it's not going to be snowing here anytime soon.
One other thing man my air conditioning doesn't blow unless I boost it to jump start it. Do you happen to know what that's all about?
What we call antifreeze, you hot climate guys call coolant. It does help and it has lubricants etc in it for the water pump and conditioners for all the aluminum etc in the system. It is best to use some.
