It was my spare core, ported and rebuilt. All new bearings and seals. The porting I believe he charges $395 for and the SB with rebuilt front drive was $595(retail) I've known Bob for over 20 years and I worked for him for awhile on and off for special projects (I'm a machinist myself) and he helped me with the build on the big block Chevy in my GTO and ported my new Dart Pro 1's .

Check out his site at www.Stiegemeier.com and there is a video on the home page of me running the blower dyno that I designed and built. It's all electric, portable and spins the superchargers up to 18,000 rpm. It totally datalogs measuring air temp (twice) air density, load, and calculates cfm and tells you how much power it takes to spin the blower at any rpm. I worked with a retired EE that worked at Boeing and IBM (he designed all the software and I integrated all the sensors into the test platform) and it took damn near a year to get all the datalogging straightened out because of the interference from the 500 amp motor

Wadaya wanna know? Stiege is also offering drilled rotors for the eaton and I might see if he'll cut me a deal on those. 50% lighter he claims.

UPS man brought my studs and bolts today and I finished disassembling the motor to take to Doug at Button Machine hopefully Friday. Supposed to snow tomarrow though.....

so what would we be charged, say if a certain number of us went to stiegemeier for the SB? or any of us for that matter?? would it be the 600 (595 deal) or would it be the charge thats listed on their site of 1295? if you dont want to answer in this thread you can pm me. im very interested in this design. and would like more specs on the upgraded pieces. more internal pictures if possible would be great.

Bob's a good friend of mine so I'd rather not quote prices on here other than what is listed on his site. It's really better to give Bob, Robyn or Kurt a call at their shop. They stay really busy so they don't always reply to emails but you can try that.

Bob is super knowledgable about these blowers and he's developed some really cool stuff here lately. Way beyond just porting. They have the Snake Bite internal overdrive, the Venom Cooler (circulates coolant around the front drive utilizing the intercooler) and they are drilling thier own rotors in house. I'm not sure if prices have been set on the rotors yet.

If you call, talk to them and they will usually work out a package deal to save you some $$$. The $1295 price on their site is for the Cobra/GT500. I believe you can get a ported Snake Bite on M90 for much less than that. They really prefer you call. Check out his site for more info and they also have thier own forum (green box on left of homepage) where you can check out what they do and ask Bob questions. If there is enough interest I could talk to Bob about a group buy or discount.

im just interested because this may be my solution for a high boost m90 setup. i will have to get more into it when i am actually doing the build, but the internal overdrive sounds promising for me.

Stiegemeiers "Venom Cooler" is said to lower blower temps 50%!! On the Cobra's and GT500's it uses their factory intercooler pump system, I'm wondering if I could make a poor man's system using just the venom cooler and a remote tank and pump to take some heat out of the eaton. I'm prolly headed over to his shop Saturday with my heads and also to have him weld the combustion chamber on a pulse jet engine I built.

If its as simple as drilling/taping the snout for some fitting for the lines that would be sweet.

I was under the impression in road course type senarios the snout got hotter than the rest of the case and their drive system basically equalized that temperature.

Looks like a modified M112 from a Lightning. How does it overdrive 30%. Is the shaft split in the nose with some sort of gearing?

They've had drilled blower rotors for a while. Unless your full out racing, it's not recommended as the rotors will warp and have to be replaced often.

large gear on input shaft drives small gear on other side, that other side drives the other rotor at the same speed.

Ah, so the shaft is split there like stock. At first glance, just looks like it's double geared to handle extra stress.
