    the front most pulley for the s/c spins really easy sounds like a roller skate wheel when i spin it. is it shot? should it be replaced or is this normal putting new belts on today and noticed it

    it should spin easy it's an idler pulley there should be no drag on it at all other than the bearings.
    98 GTP modded 1.9's, sd headers, 3.4", zzp 1.0 230K miles scrapped.

    Spinning is good. The faster ilders spin, the better.

    Sounds normal to me. It is made to spin freely. Why do you think it should have resistance?

    should not make any noise. mine did and 10k miles later it sheared off while driving. Cost me $15 to get a replacement.

    i just wasnt sure if it was suppose to spin that freely thought there was suppose to some resistance but its normal from what you guys have said

    I know this is a little late, but if it sounds like a roller skate wheel spinning (with the little rattle they make), it's probably lost it's grease and that's why it spins more easily. I would replace it, they're pretty cheap.
