While on craigslist i saw a post from someone that was selling a ported supercharger. I messeged them and they told me the supercharger was stock but they had a ported s/c case. They want 25 for it and was wondering if thats good or not? And what can i expect in terms of additional power for my car?

$25 for the case alone is a pretty good deal all in itself, regardless of it being ported or not.

It depends how it was ported. $25 sounds like something may be wrong with it to me..

Have them send you pics of the outlet, inlet, and the inside of the case. Post them here, and our resident experts will assist you in your endeavor!

Silencer ports are open, you can see the rotor marks on the casing through them

It looks rather over ported, and why on earth did they try to machine the bottom of the case??

Also the deep gouging, and what looks like a nasty chewed up section at the bottom of the outlet..

Spend 25 on it, and then use it as a badass paperweight?

silencer ports open are good. If they are closed you have to worry because most that do that use jb weld or something like that. Also that case is overported and junk.

That thing is ported like a Lightning Supercharger. I don't understand why ppl port M90s like that. It ruins them.
