I think it was either you or the 13.6 I read about. Thanks for chiming in with the personal experience on this. I think I would probably follow your path, because I would be afraid of scattering the trans with slicks. It'll be my DD, so that rules out a few options. So does the cost of a new trans just to gain a couple of tenths. :th_winking:

But a race trans...is quite possibly the best money I ever spent on my car...slap bang shifts and barking the tires into 2nd, not going WOT...is winning.

Race trans????? $$$$$$$$$$$ YIKES!!!!!!!! What's one of those run? I saw one for about $2500 that was supposed to stand up to 75% more power. About 500 lb ft, but that $2500 was before shipping or installation. Kinda scary. I'm sure they have less expensive models, and there are probably cheaper companies, but still.....
